See Lisle in Style: Visit the French Market Before It’s Gone with Summer

  |     |   Local Events

Welcome to the Marq on Main blog!

We want to keep our residents informed with updates, local events, fun things to do around town, shopping, dining, and more. We will be posting bi-weekly blogs, so keep checking back for the latest on our apartment homes, news around Lisle, events, and everything in between.

For our first update, we want to tell you about two things, one right here in Marq on Main, and one in the city.

Marq on Main will be playing all the Lord of the Rings Movies for Hobbit Day on 9/22. Come celebrate the epic movies in the clubhouse all day on the 22nd of September. We will play the movies all the way through, so stop by and say hi!

The French Market

Outside of Marq on Main, we still have the French Market going on!

Every Saturday through mid-October, come check out local businesses as they showcase the finest goods from Lisle and the surrounding areas. Vendors are always changing, so each Saturday is a new experience. There is free parking in the Garfield Parking, along Main Street, and in the Commuter Parking Lots off of Burlington.

The market takes place at PraireWalk Pond at the corner of Burlington and Garfield Avenues. This open-air market features vendors selling everything from crafts, jewelry, and pet products to the finest meats, fresh local produce, and baked goods. Stop by for tastings and support the local community!

When: Saturdays from 8 am – 1 pm

Where: PrairieWalk Pond – Corner of Burlington and Garfield in Lisle

Vendors and More Information

If you want information on becoming a vendor, please contact Paula Gleason the Market Supervisor at [email protected] or call 630-222-3403.

You can also shop and explore downtown Lisle after the market!

We have so much to offer, and it feels great supporting local businesses in our gorgeous garden settings.

Stay tuned to the blog for more community updates!
